Minor variations in paper texture, cover finish, or print colour may occur between batches, these are characteristic of small-batch production and do not constitute a defect
All product dimensions are approximate

7. Pricing and Payment

7.1 Pricing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place the order.

7.2 Payment

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We accept credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets. We do not store your card or bank account details. All payment information is handled directly by Razorpay in accordance with their PCI-DSS security standards.

Your order is confirmed only upon successful payment. In the event of a payment failure, please retry or contact your bank before reaching out to us.

7.3 GST and Invoicing

A GST-compliant invoice will be issued for every order and sent to your registered email address. GST Number: 29GQKPS7039K1ZU. If you require changes to billing details, please contact us at support.solitude@gmail.com within 48 hours of placing the order.

8. Orders and Order Confirmation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including and not limited to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. In the event of a cancellation initiated by us after payment, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.

9. Shipping and Delivery

9.1 Shipping partners

We ship through third-party logistics partners including Shiprocket, Delhivery, and others. The choice of courier is at our discretion based on your delivery location.

9.2 Delivery timelines

Orders are processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days of payment confirmation
Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days after dispatch for most locations in India
Remote locations may take longer; timelines are estimates and not guaranteed

9.3 Shipping charges

Shipping is free on orders above ₹499. Orders below this threshold will attract a shipping fee displayed at checkout.

9.4 Failed deliveries and risk

We are not responsible for orders lost or delayed due to an incorrect delivery address provided by you. Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery. Title passes upon receipt of full payment.

10. Returns, Replacements, and Refunds

10.1 Eligible returns

You may request a return or replacement within 7 days of delivery if the product is damaged or defective on arrival, or you received the wrong product, or the product is significantly different from its description. Email us at support.solitude@gmail.com with your order number, unboxing video and photographs within 7 days of delivery.

10.2 Non-eligible returns

We do not accept returns for change of mind, minor production variations, products that have been used or written in, or requests made after 7 days of delivery.

10.3 Refunds and cancellations

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Approval is subject to physical inspection of the returned product by us. Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order by contacting us at support.solitude@gmail.com. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.

11. Personal Information

Your submission of personal information through the website is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By placing an order or creating an account, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (SPDI) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

12. User Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions

We are not obligated to maintain confidentiality with respect to any submissions, unless explicitly agreed otherwise

14. Acceptable Use

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Indian law, Solitude shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our products or website, including loss of data, revenue, or profit resulting from website downtime or technical errors, or delays caused by third-party logistics or payment partners.

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

17. Disclaimers

Our website and products are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that product information is always complete or current. We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites linked from artofsolitude.in.

18. Termination

These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by discontinuing use of our website. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination:

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies published on artofsolitude.in, constitute the entire agreement between you and Solitude with respect to your use of the website and the purchase of our products. These Terms supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, whether oral or written. Any failure by us to exercise any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Consumers also have the right to approach the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or the appropriate State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to this page with an updated date. We will notify you of material changes via email where possible. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
